About Us
Hudson Valley Ceremonies is owned by Jeanne Stark.  Jeanne is a
wedding consultant, wedding coordinator, wedding specialist and
ordained minister.  At Hudson Valley Ceremonies their main goal is the
happiness and complete 100% satisfaction of the couples.  All the staff go
above and beyond to help and assure all couples that the job will get
done.

The staff at Hudson Valley Ceremonies has worked with over 2000 couples
to create a day to remember for the rest of their lives.  The experience
and knowledge of all types of weddings, cultures and traditions gives the
staff the ability to help any couple that comes their way.

Most of the services that Hudson Valley Ceremonies offers are in a
package format with the prices listed right on the site.  Why, you ask
would we do this?  We have been told by many couples that it makes
budgeting much easier if the price of a service is known up front.  They
waste less time with vendors who don't fall within their budget.

Debra Romano (Reverend)

Debra is an ordained nondenominational minister and so much
more.  Debra is a NYS Certified Paralegal and Volunteer
Family Court Advocate.  Debra is a wife and mother of five
children.  Debra's caring and nurturing nature will put any
nervous bride and groom to rest and ease their minds to the
process of developing a beautiful ceremony.  Debra is also a
registered officiant in the five burroughs of New York City.
Sage Newkirk

Sage is our office manager and a wedding coordinator.  
Without Sage our office couldn't run smoothly.  Sage works
with our couples to coordinate contracts, meetings, supplies
and more.  She is always more than willing to speak with
couples to assist them with their wedding.  
Sarah Knox

Sarah is a new Wedding Coordinator, having just planned her
own wedding and working with Jeanne to train in planning
weddings..  She has a very sweet and reassuring nature.  Her
attention to detail and creativity is the most important
aspect of Sarah's work.  She puts her whole heart and soul
into every wedding and event.  Sarah also works as a nanny
and with this experience brings a very special nature to
weddings with children.
Victoria Becker (Reverend)

Victoria is one of our newly ordained ministers.  Ordained
through the Sanctuary of the Beloved in Conesus New York,
Victoria is a non-denominational/interfaith minister.  
Victoria is also a mother and a Reiki Master.  Reiki is a
Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that
also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands"
and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy"
flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
Megan Lisi

Megan Lisi is one of our new wedding coordinator assistants.
 Megan comes to us with experience in corporate event
planning working with Pepsi Cola.  Megan has great energy,
style, and charisma.  She will be training under Jeanne and
the other coordinators and work her way to becoming a full
wedding and event coordinator.
Paul McMahon

Paul McMahon was ordained an Interfaith minister
(specializing in Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Native
American, and many other spiritual studies) in 1996 at the
Center for the Living Earth in Bearsville, NY. Presiding at
the ordination were Rev. Betsy Stang and Beautiful Painted
Arrow, one of whose sayings is, “God is looking for a few
fools who say yes.” Paul has said yes to many other things as
well, including music, art and humor. His resume includes
spiritual studies with Grandfather Thundercloud and
Bhagavan Das. He currently directs events at the Woodstock
Mothership, an entrepeneurial-spiritual-creative-sustainable-
community-oriented enterprise in Woodstock. His greatest
achievement so far has been helping to bring two lovely
and talented twin girls into the world in 2001.
Rev. Stuart Chernoff

The Right Reverend Stuart B. Chernoff prides himself on
being opened to ‘All Ways’. His philosophy for joining people
is to be true and honest to their beliefs.
As an Ordained Clergy of the Spiritual Humanist Church he is
dedicated to the magic and spirit of Human connectedness. It
is through this inclusive attitude and respect for an individual’
s chosen path in life that he can truly bless a marriage and
form a protective bond around a couple.
Stuart ‘s unique approach allows him to perform an extensive
array of wedding ceremonies ranging through the cultures of,
Christian, Jewish, Spiritual, Pagan, and Uplifting Non-
Denominational.
And, from his experience as an entertainer, he can create
‘Specialty Ceremonies’ by using his unique Brooklyn humor,
or singing your favorite tune at any time during the
ceremony.
Additionally, as with any thespian, his attire can be formal
Clergy attire or full vestment, to his natural, hip NYC vintage
look. And yes, he looks great in a simple suit and tie as well.
So, whether it’s your vows or his, traditional, spiritual,
musical, or spiced up a bit, Stuart B. Chernoff could be ‘The
